The Reedman Family

Pastoring our amazing church has been one of the greatest decisions we have ever made! Over the years, we’ve been constantly reminded that God can be trusted. Since that first day in 2012, He has met every one of our needs and filled our lives with more blessings than we deserve. It’s hard to believe how quickly the years have flown by.

Here’s where it all started…

We met during our junior year of college at West Coast Baptist College in California. Shortly after meeting, it was time to graduate and step out into the real world. We earned our Bachelor’s Degrees from WCBC in 2003, and shortly thereafter, Jaime and I were married.

Foothill Baptist Church in Moreno Valley, California (2003-2008)

We spent the next six years building our family and serving the Lord full-time at Foothill Baptist Church in Moreno Valley. We enjoyed those early days of ministry, and we praise the Lord for all that He allowed us to accomplish there. We loved ministering alongside Jaime's parents (Pastor Mark & Corinne Turner). Together, we enjoyed building a great work for the Lord.

Lighthouse Baptist Church in Pleasanton, California (2008-2012)

We spent another five wonderful years at Lighthouse Baptist Church in Pleasanton. There are not many days that go by without us stopping to thank the Lord and Pastor Bryson for allowing us to serve at LBC. Pastor Bryson and his wife, Carol, taught us by example how to serve others faithfully.

Through it all...

I am so grateful for Jaime. She has followed God’s direction wherever He has led us! I believe she is God’s perfect will for my life. Jaime is a wonderful mother to our three children and a faithful believer in Jesus Christ. She loves Phillies baseball and never misses our kids’ ballgames. For 19 years, she has chosen to raise our family and happily serve God.

It's hard to believe that Tyler, our oldest, is a sophomore in college. Madison is a high school senior, and Reagan is already in the 5th grade. This new stage of life we are experiencing now is a little strange, quite expensive, and exciting all at the same time! Here's a little more about the Reedman kids...

Tyler played football at Northwestern College last season and studied history. Over the summer, he decided to officially step away from football and pursue a degree locally in criminal justice. Please pray for Tyler as he follows God’s will for his life. While he’s home, you will find him serving in our media department on Sunday mornings.

Madison loves basketball and is training hard in the off-season to help lead her team to its fourth consecutive winning season. After high school, Madison hopes to play basketball at the collegiate level and study tomography, with the future goal of becoming a radiologist. Maddie has a Dachshund puppy named Maple and works as a lifeguard on weekends. She serves in our church nursery when needed and is a leader in our youth group.

Reagan is our youngest and is full of energy! She enjoys arts and crafts and spending time with her friends. She just started 5th grade, but it seems like she’s been a teenager for the past three years already! Being the dad of two daughters has surely been interesting. Reagan serves at our church in various capacities, but what I look forward to the most is the hug she gives me before each service begins.

Serving the Lord together as a family has been an incredible experience! We hope to continue serving Jesus for many years to come. We are really looking forward to meeting your family at an upcoming Sunday service. If this will be your first time with us, we would love to invite you for a meal after the morning service. It will be our treat, and it will be a pleasure to spend time getting to know you.

If you need anything or would like more information about Desert Cities Baptist and our church family, please feel free to reach out at any time!

Your Friend,
Pastor Reedman
